Associate Developer Jonathan Dreisbach was drawn to KDG for more than just the opportunity to perform custom software development work. He saw KDG as the perfect workplace where he could learn, collaborate, and grow alongside his peers. Since joining the team, he has become an invaluable asset thanks to his skill, determination, and willingness to lend a helping hand.
You’ve now surpassed 100 days at KDG! What is one lesson you’ve learned while you’ve been here?
Never take a task or issue at face value. It is more important to evaluate every scenario and edge case to maintain efficiency and predictability.
What was your first impression of KDG?
I was excited to work for a company that truly cares about its employees and embraces their core values, which I find myself using outside of KDG more and more everyday as well.
KDG’s committed to being a “cheerworthy” company. Why do you cheer for KDG?
KDG is truly a unique company that embodies its values well, is filled with great people, and makes coming to work everyday not only enjoyable but exciting.
What KDG value do you align with most and why?
We honor and respect everyone that we work with. I have found at KDG that everybody, no matter their title or role, is serious about this value. Whether it be the warm welcomes during onboarding, or literally anybody willing to lend a helping hand. This is important to me because the only thing I enjoy more than learning is helping others learn as well.
What’s your favorite place to go on your lunch break?
I like to sit by the river, although it has been way too hot the last few days!
How do you de-stress after a long week?
Saturday game nights with my family, motorcycle rides, and fishing.
