One of KDG’s values is to “honor and respect everyone we work with.” This means our coworkers, clients, and partners. But it’s not limited to just our fellow human beings. KDG takes pride in honoring and respecting the planet and all that call it home. That’s why we are so excited to announce our partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects.

Who Is Eden Reforestation Projects?

Eden Reforestation Projects is a 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to provide fair wage employment to impoverished villagers as agents of global forest restoration. They hire the poorest of the poor to grow, plant, and guard to maturity native species forests on a massive scale. Their “Employ to Plant” methodology results in a multiplication of positive socio-economic and environment measures.

Eden Reforestation Projects has already planted 583,000,000+ trees across eight countries and employed thousands of local people to help reduce extreme poverty.

How KDG Will Help

As a Seed Partner, KDG will make a quarterly donation to Eden Reforestation Projects to help plant trees across the world, including in Nepal, Madagascar, Haiti, Kenya, and Indonesia.

You can monitor our progress in real-time on Eden’s website! Here’s the impact our donation has made so far:

We look forward to this partnership and helping Eden Reforestation Projects achieve their mission of alleviating extreme poverty and restoring healthy forests. You can learn more and find out ways you can help by visiting: https://edenprojects.org/
