From impressive growth to record-breaking giving campaigns, 2017 has been one of our biggest years ever! Whether you’re a new client or one we’ve worked with for years, you’ve helped make 2017 a success. Join us as we take a look back at some of the most memorable moments you’ve helped make possible.

Rapid Growth

With so many projects to balance, we needed more hands on deck! This year, our company expanded by over 30% and has attracted some of the top software developers, IT specialists, sales professionals, and web designers to our headquarters in Allentown, PA.

And, with this growth, we’ve been able to take on even more projects than ever before!

Big Projects, Tight Deadlines

From a higher ed web migration project with over 3,000 pages to a custom application that will help an international company manage its accounts, our team faced major projects and some pretty tight deadlines in 2017.

But thanks to hard work and flawless collaboration with our clients, we were able to work together to meet our goals and launch projects we can all be proud of. And the momentum doesn’t seem to be slowing…

Flawless Customer Experience

In 2017, we dedicated ourselves to a transparent and flawless customer experience. Our website underwent some huge changes, including a customer experience page with unedited client feedback publicly available for the world to see. We use feedback as a way of gauging how we’re doing, holding ourselves accountable, and showing clients that we’re actually listening to their words.

You’ve helped make this success possible by openly giving feedback every single week, helping our team work better and, in the process, giving back to communities in need. You’ve answered the call and have helped us garner more than 600 transparent, honest, and open customer reviews (with a 99% satisfaction rating).

Award-Winning Web Design

Our Lehigh Valley web design team and our clients added not one, but seven web design awards to their name this year: 3 Davey Awards, 3 WebAwards, and 1 Platinum CASE Award.

These awards were huge honors for our team, especially the CASE Award, which was awarded to the record-breaking and internet-trending 2016 Drexel crowdfunding campaign. The CASE Awards are like the Grammy’s or the Oscar’s of higher ed, so needless to say, our web design team was ecstatic.

(Our custom software development team had a pretty good 2017, as well. They were named one of the leading software development teams in the Philadelphia area by Clutch. Meanwhile, CIO Review named KDG one of the most promising firms in ed tech thanks to our higher ed inbound marketing projects.)

Zoho Development for Businesses

Like our higher ed web design team, our certified Zoho developers also kept very busy. We had tons of Zoho projects this year, some small integrations and others large relationship management tools for international businesses. There was no Zoho project too big or too small.

Our 100% US-based team of Zoho developers helped businesses manage and streamline their organizations with Zoho Creator applications, Zoho CRM, and Zoho Reports. From small local government bodies to a busy apartment locator service, businesses were able to grow with the power of Zoho.

One-Stop Google Partner

This year, we became a certified Google Partner. We’re able to help clients in all things Google, from AdWords to App Engine. Our team attended conferences in NYC and enrolled in online courses to learn the best Google tips and tricks for our clients.

Need help migrating your email to the Gmail suite? Need hosting support? Our small business IT support team made up of certified Google Cloud Partners can lend a hand. Want to increase web traffic, showcase engaging ads, or analyze web stats? We can help with that too.

We’ve also gotten some exclusive first-looks at new Google products, like Google App Maker, which you can use to help your business build simple and engaging web apps.

Record-Breaking Higher Ed Crowdfunding Campaigns

It was one of the busiest years ever for our higher ed web design team. We worked on half a dozen higher ed crowdfunding campaigns in 2017, including Fenwick High School, Baker University, Florida Institute of Technology, Muhlenberg’s Mulemadness and Mulementum, and Drexel University.

2017 marked our third campaign with FIT, our fifth campaign with Muhlenberg, and our second campaign with Drexel. All broke goals, exceeded expectations, and engaged their campus communities.

Although the year may be over, our work isn’t. Our team is already planning several campaigns for next year!

With new projects, new clients, and new employees, our KDG Family is growing. Thank you for joining us on this ride and we look forward to all that 2018 will bring!
