This year, our team of web designers decided to show off some of their proudest projects in a series of web design awards. After plenty of applications and months of anticipation, the lists of winners are just starting to be announced and our designers have already claimed three prizes from WebAwards 2017, one of the longest running web award competitions.

The projects entered into the competition this year were some of our team’s favorite projects to be a part of. They were challenging, they were creative, and they allowed our team to work closely with clients, helping them bring their ideas to life.

Drexel’s 2016 crowdfunding campaign, already a CASE Platinum Prize winner in fundraising, was awarded the Events Standard of Excellence prize. The crowdfunding campaign’s design and innovative creativity were most praised by judges, who called the spy-themed campaign “very clever.”

The recent website redesign for St. Augustine Preparatory School was also recognized. The engaging website for the private high school was awarded the “Outstanding Website” prize. It scored 60 points out of a possible 70, well above both the industry average and the WebAwards average. In addition, the site was one of three nominees for “Best in Show” in the category of “Primary Schools,” scoring a near perfect score (9.5/10) in usability. The site’s copywriting was also recognized.

Finally, the higher ed web design for Saint Vincent College also claimed the “Outstanding Website” prize. The site was also one of the three “Best in Show” nominees in the very competitive category of “Colleges & Universities.” The site scored a 62 out of 70. Once again, copywriting and content claimed a near perfect score, as did the website’s overall design. Judges called it a “winner.”

Our team was thrilled with the results of the contest and glad to demonstrate the work we’ve done with our clients.
